Plot twist; the real final boss is actually the princess of light, Princess Zurieülbeth Gaia Anthefeinn Hallbosch of Decaym Foriell Distheimn!
After the death of the Emperor of Darkness, the balance in the world has shattered, and only the blinding light of the sun remains!

Princess Zurieülbeth is corrupted because of the overwhelming light, and reveals her true unrestricted cursed form!

Only you can save the world and bring balance to Gügaia and the Darkness Domain, now begins the true End of Tranquility, and out last battle, our Last Imagination!

...Okay, so, about the actual music;
I wanted this song to feel like...a final battle, i think that is obvious, but what makes a final boss theme a final boss theme?
I wondered about this a lot, and i concluded that i don't really enjoy making traditional final boss themes (epic, grand, bombastic), so i wanted to make something more unique and different, focused on things i am good at, rather than dwelling on worrying if it is "final bossy" enough

This song uses leitmotifs from the main theme, and the princess's theme
I wanted this song to feel royal, like a beautiful princess, so i wanted to use beautiful and "pure" instruments like piano, church organs, and harpsichords, but something is obviously fucking wrong, that's why i went for some complex chords in the intro and with the progressive time signature buildup, to show that this is a beautiful princess, but this is the end, she is full of corruption and hatred, and now she only wants to blind the world in her light, and she has the power to do so!

The finale of the song is where the princes's original theme re-appears, but this time, it is in minor key instead of major, and the latter part of the princess's original theme gets re-used as notes for the guitar solo, showing that deep inside, she is still recognisable, but it is already too late, the light shall blind and consume the world if our heroes fail!

I also borrowed some chords from Battle for Everyone's Souls from Persona 3 in the middle part...
