Materiality of Life ~ Multitrajectionary Spirituality
This is the stage 2 boss theme!
But in a traditional Touhou game, this definitely would be the stage 5 boss theme.
It's very inspired by a lot of stage 5 boss themes, especially those from Touhou 12, Touhou 7, and Touhou 6.
I wanted it to feel very menacing and tense at first, but i also wanted to have enough beautiful and calm parts to balance the tension.
I tried something different than usual for the trumpet part, i wanted to make it feel like it was "hard to understand" with the effects, the bass is also quite deep here, deeper than usual for most of my songs.
I also used slightly off-timed notes, it's a technique that was used a lot in Touhou 12, and i really loved it.
Overall, this is supposed to be a disorienting song for a more menacing but beautiful guardian.
Story:
Reimu is approached by a menacing figure that claims she will kill her, apparently, this isn't a common enemy, it's a spirit animal, so that probably means she is with someone...
Her name is Yui Fushine, and she wields a polearm with 2 sharp ends, she can spin it around to increase her momentum to different directions, and she can also blow her bullets away because she has the ability to control wind with her weapon.
But of course, she gets her ass kicked, and Reimu makes an epic JoJo reference (i'm not joking around here, i'm trying to make the story kind of ZUN-esque, and this is definitely a thing ZUN does from time to time.)

Among Wanwan's finest work resides in this album. A lot of it is simply very relaxing. This is the kind of music you can listen to on repeat for hours without getting tired of it. Alongside the more slow paced tracks, though, there are also some really awesome climactic compositions towards the end, which are my personal favorites.
このアルバムはこのWanwanの最高傑作の一つだ。この音楽のたいていはとてもリラックスできるでも最後に強力な音楽もあります。 Ash

A remix of an OST featuring a variety of artists is such a great idea. It gets small artists in the spotlight and exposes people to art they might have never found otherwise. hexn3t
